Living Along the Grand Strand refers to the 60+ mile stretch of barrier island between the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, starting at Little River and ending in Georgetown. Myrtle Beach is of course the most well-known city along the Grand Strand, but there are several wonderful communities that make up this stretch… all of them with their own unique flavor. Additionally, the growth of some distinctive communities west of the Intracoastal Waterway are offering homeowners the option of living in a slower paced area while still being close to the beach.
